Practical use

The unit offers seven measurement modes including distance, angle/height/horizontal, scan, two-point height, speed and golf (angle/lope compensation). Continuous scan mode locks and updates measurements across multiple targets and the device stores your last mode and up to 10 previous readings.

Safety and care

Minimum range is 5 m and measurements should not be taken through glass. Weather, fog, dust or strong light can affect laser performance, and the eyepiece display is not illuminated so additional lighting may be needed in low light. Manual focus is adjusted at the eyepiece and units can be switched between metres and yards by holding measurement and mode buttons together.
