Design & usability

The MINI 3 Pro uses a transparent status display to show recording, Wi‑Fi and microphone icons without blocking your view. Its compact, low‑profile body fits behind the rearview mirror and stays out of the way while driving.

Set up is plug & play and playback is handled through the KAWA AUTO app via built‑in Wi‑Fi for real‑time preview, downloads and easy sharing without using mobile data.

Image quality & recording

Capture clear footage in 2K (2304×1296) at 30fps with H.265 encoding in MP4 format, supported by WDR and 3D DNR for balanced highlights and reduced noise. Colourful night vision helps identify plates and signs in low light, while loop recording automatically overwrites the oldest files so you keep recording without interruption.

Audio is recorded alongside video, and emergency clips are protected by the G‑sensor into a separate folder when an impact is detected.

Power, safety & storage

The dash cam is powered by a super capacitor for greater tolerance to extreme temperatures (working: -20°C to 65°C; storage: -30°C to 80°C) and uses a corded 5V 1.5A input. Parking monitoring and time‑lapse require a dedicated hardwire kit (sold separately).

Supports microSD cards up to 256GB (Class 10 recommended). The unit carries CE, FCC, RoHS and WEEE certifications and includes a 3.5m cable and car charger accessory for flexible installation.
